Know your numbers to help keep your heart healthy! Get your blood pressure checked: starting at age 20, every 2 years if blood pressure is normal, with normal blood pressurebeing under 120/80.
Get your cholesterol checked. Men: age 35 and older; under 35 if you have heart disease or risk factors for heart disease. Women: with heart disease or risk factors for heart disease. Healthy levels: Total cholesterol: under 200; HDL or good cholesterol: 60 and higher; LDL or bad cholesterol: under 100; and Triglycerides: under 150.

Talk to your doctor about how
your numbers affect your risk
for heart disease.
